The Forest Retreat - A Mindful Movement Reset

We are visitors to this place and time. As we pass through, we should observe,learn and love.


I would like to invite you to The Forest Mindful Movement Retreat it is your chance to join me in the ancient Abernethy forest in the Scottish Highland at the wonderful Dell of abernethy Lodge. 

Using the forest and its rich life as a theme, together I will lead you thoughtfully in a delicous mixture of easy mindful moves, meditations, forest walks, fireside thoughtful discussion and laughter, sumptious fresh food and use our time in this unique cocoon of nature to take the opprtunity to connect with ourselves andfeel inspired. 

Our programme has exploratory somatic movement for all ,based on my  rich "movement is medicine" experience and philosophy. I use a fusion of many approaches I have encountered and the people I have been priveliged to work, share and be with. Blended pilates, yoga, tai chi, physio, working with the seriously injured to the elite athlete and evey individual Ihave been blessed to encounter,are the experience I put in my recipes and want to share.   This is all about you having time to connect and exploring your body movements and the connectins with your mind, emotions and nature.

We will have plenty of time discussing and meditating on topics led by the forest life. You will be able to spend time on your own recharging. 

No previuos experience needed. Just your inquisitiveness!

The evening fire will circle is our end of day celebration. 

All fueled by our host Pollys wonderful nourishment in The Dell of Abernethy.
